10/30/2023 0 Comments Keep inventory command 1.2.5![]() Are you able to avoid maxing out the Transfer Container each time you want to dump your scavenged resources? (Also do you take from ship, walk to transfer station then dump?)Ģ. ![]() Each type of ore extractor goes to it’s own row of storage (I don’t mix the storage because I want to be able to sort and take if needed)ġ. I have luckily found cobalt, iron, nickel, copper all in one areaĢ. Transfer container sorts them into isolated storageġ. I take all my resources from ship and drop them into transfer container (but I need to do this multiple times because transfer container only holds I think 300kg per load (how do you avoid needing to cycle through this when you have a 5000 to 6000 kg load?)ģ. Isolated storage containers connected to transfer containerĢ. Outgoing transfer pad is linked to main base.ġ. Storage is linked to outgoing transfer pad. Extractors are linked to Al and iron storage. I followed your instructions and have the following systems.ġ. Just wanted to thank you so much OP for writing this post. You should be able to access anything in these containers from a crafting bench inside your outpost. If you need multiple containers, the output links between the containers will fill up the last container in the chain first. The output links will then separate the goods to the correct containers. You can transfer all resources from your ship to the Transfer Container. Once you have that built interact with the Transfer Container and you should be able to cycle to your ship. ![]() The link from the Transfer Container should be to the first container in the chain If you have multiple storage containers in a line, connect those containers as well with an output link.If you have multiple containers for a given type, only use 1 link. Create 4 different output links (edit menu) from the Transfer Container to each of the 4 storage container types.Build a Landing Pad w/ Ship Builder (so your ship can be in your base, this is a must).Build multiple containers in a line but do not mix the container types in the same line (I had a bug that deleted all my items this way). You will likely need more solid containers than the others. Build all of the storage container types in different lines. ![]() It is possible to easily transfer all cargo from your ship to a huge supply of storage containers at an outpost. I'll take advice or suggestions if something is off, but all I can say is 'it works on my machine'. The few posts I saw yesterday didn't quite get me to this point. I figured out inventory management at an outpost and wanted to share.
